BP LARAPINTA (LOGAN TRAVEL CENTRE)

PRINCIPLE CONTRACT: BECON CONSTRUCTIONS —  MECHANICAL CONSULTANT: BRT ENGINEERING

Technicool were contracted to carry out all mechanical works for the BP Travel Centre consisting of a main dining area, 5 tenancies, staff facilities and common amenities.

The project consisted of 4 Actron packaged air conditioning systems to the main dining area with each tenancy having its own packed air conditioning system.  Staff areas were air conditioned by Mitsubishi Electric air conditioning systems.

Ventilation of supply and exhaust air were installed to the building, with the supply air quantity being monitored by CO2 sensors to control the exact requirements.

Technicool also supplied and installed a BMS system that controlled and monitored all A/C, Ventilation, Cold Room/ Freezers, Lights, Water and Energy useage.  This system can be remotely controlled and is hooked up to the BP network for ongoing maintenance.
